December 26, 2004 a 9.0 earthquake struck the ocean floor off the Indonesian Island
of Sumatra. It triggered a series of devastating tsunamis along the coasts of most
landmasses bordering the Indian Ocean, killing large numbers of people and inundating
coastal communities across South and Southeast Asia, including parts of Indonesia,
Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand. There were approximately 229,866 people lost, including
186,983 dead and 42,883 missing.
Bridge of Hope airlifted 100,000 pounds of water, medicine and other relief supplies
to the victims of these devastated nations. The victims of these killer tidal waves
had no place to turn -- but you can gave them hope! Every single gift helped to
save lives! Thank you for caring.
Along with supporting the compassionate work of Bridge of Hope, your gift helps Pastor Rod Parsley preach the Gospel to a lost and hurting world through our Breakthrough television broadcast.
