Hi Pastor,
First of all, I love you and your family and thank God for you all!
I wanted to write and tell you about the effect that Master's Welcome has had on my immediate family from 2 hours away. I talked my sister into coming and she brought my nephew (biologically hers) and my niece (she adopted her from my brother who has badly struggled with a drug addiction). Her husband was very upset that she came to the play bc it was a school night and they would have 2 hours of driving after the play. PLUS, he's catholic. But, she came anyway bc she knew the impact it would have. I can't even begin to tell you the struggle of my niece, both parents are addicted to drugs and she has been raised by her grandpa who went to prison for drugs, and that's when my sister took her 3 yrs ago.
Well, not only did my sons (ages 9 & 13) give their lives to Christ that night, but so did my nephew (9) and my niece (just turned 15). Praise God! That's just the beginning! They went home and my nephew told his dad, he actually called him on the way home and told him bc he was so excited. Well, the following Sunday at their church in Portsmouth, Ohio, my brother-n-law who was born and raised Catholic (he's now 33 yrs old) gave his life to Christ! This is still not it!
My niece who was saved at master's welcome wanted to be baptized. So, last night (11/16/2011) she was baptized! My mom (59 yrs old) and my brother (38 and has battled years of drug addiction) went to watch her be baptized. At this service, BOTH my mom and my brother gave their lives to Christ! The amazing thing is Pastor, Wednesday night, I was praying so hard at church for this same brother to come to Christ, to some how find his way! I no longer got home and got the message from my sister! God is so good!
So, I just wanted to share this with you because thank God for Master's Welcome because 7 of my immediate family members will now know and serve the same amazing God as we do and we will all spend eternity together... as you might say - they got their "wangs!" Even more amazing than this is the fact that I KNOW God is not done with my family. I am believing, and asking you to believe with me, that my entire family and anyone who comes in contact with us will catch this infectious love of God and come to know him!
