Dear Friend, Plant your seed of faith during a famine, and the rest of the world thinks you’re crazy! The ground is dry, and nothing can grow ... But when it’s a seed planted in obedience to God’s command, the dry ground and circumstances of famine mean nothing, because He will bless you! It happened to Isaac in the Old Testament. In a dry season (a famine of months with no rain), God promised him if he would just sow a seed, he would experience an abundant harvest - In Genesis 26:12, we read that Isaac obeyed God: “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.” He sowed the last of his seed into land which looked, to the human eye, so dry and parched that NOTHING could take root there ... ... and the Bible says his harvest was 100 TIMES what he planted!!!
