All Religions Are Not Equal

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Hebrews 9:22

Many believers today are confused when it comes to other religions. They have bought into the notion that all religions are the same and that there is a universal god to which we can all pray and be blessed. This is deception.

Christianity is not a religion, but a way of life based on the Holy Bible, God’s eternal Word. Other religions have their sacred books too, but only Christianity had a Savior who died for us so we could be delivered from the wages of sin and reap the blessings and promises of God.

Buddha didn’t die on the cross for his followers. Salvation can’t be found in a Hindu cow, a Buddhist temple, or a Shinto shrine. It can’t be found in the church doctrines of any Christian tradition, either.

The only thing that matters is whether you accept what Christ did for you on the cross. Jesus gave us redemption and forgave our sins (Colossians 1:14). Do you believe that He died so you may live? Will you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord…will you lay down everything to follow Him?
