Harvest Preparatory School

World Harvest Bible College Instructional Designer

World Harvest Bible College, also known as "The School of the Spirit", is a premier academic institution where students from all 50 states and over 30 nations come to be equipped as vessels for the end-time revival. World Harvest Bible College is unlike most schools of its kind, offering practical, hands on training and impartation for ministry combined with well rounded academics.
This Instructional Designer opening is a full-time, 40 hour a week position within the college. The tasks comprising the position are innovative, diverse and systematic in scope with far reaching results. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 3-5 years in the area of Instructional Design.
Description:

Develop and maintain the core curriculum of the college.

Create online, onsite, adult format and blended courses for degree, non-degree, and training purposes in conjunction with subject matter experts.

Play an integral part in formatting the existing courses to match program and course objectives in a course module guide for each class.

Assist students and instructors transfer knowledge most effectively through the arranging of media and applicable content.

Determine the current state of student understanding, define the end goal of instruction, and create media-based "intervention" to assist in the transition.
Qualifications:

Security Guard
The Security Guard openings are full-time, 40 hour a week positions within the ministry’s Security Department. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 2-5 years in the area of security.
Description
- Patrol facility including the interior and exterior perimeters for a multi-campus work environment by foot and/or vehicle
- Man security posts and serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and misconduct that may be a threat to the staff, students, guests and/or property.
- Assist in monitoring the flow of personnel, parents, students and guests entering and exiting the buildings
- Log visitor security clearances and control activities to verify personal, school and ministry I.D.
- Watch for and report irregularities - able to detect suspicious activity
- Monitor and inspect facilities throughout shift
- Report and respond to all emergencies, including medical, accidents and incidents
- Prepare routine, standardized reports
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Work well in a team environment
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2-3 years of a verifiable employment history
- Two year minimum experience with a law enforcement, public, or private sector security organization
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written for the purpose of public interaction and report writing
- Valid Ohio drivers license with a good driving record and be insurable

This Business Intelligence – Report Writer opening is a full-time, 40 hour a week position within the ministry’s Partner Services department. The tasks comprising this position are innovative, diverse and systematic in scope with far reaching results. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 1-2 years in the area of Information Technology.

TV/VIDEO EDITOR
Breakthrough Television, a division of World Harvest Church has an opportunity for an experienced Television / Video editor. We are moving to a full digital environment so the future will be state-of-the-art equipment before the end of the year.
Relevant experience in both short-form and long-form video programs is required. Three to five years major market experience with a non-linear edit platform is required. Breakthrough Television utilizes a new Avid Lanshare Unity shared storage system, operating on Avid Adrenaline platforms, with support from After Effects, Deko, Photoshop, and Avid plug-ins. Experience with DVCPRO and Digibeta desired. Prefer AVID experience, but FCP accepted.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in television production and post-production
- Ability to interact with other staff members in a clear and concise manner
- Thrive in a challenge and exciting environment
- 5 – 7 years relevant overall editing experience
- Advanced knowledge of detailed television/video editing
- Proven track record of sound decision making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The chosen candidate is expected to become an active member of the World Harvest Church family and relocate to the central Ohio area. Experience is necessary. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and various shifts as needed. No beginners or show stackers.
