I was laid off in February, 2009 and like millions of people joined the unemployment line. I applied to hundreds of jobs and went to a few interviews, but nobody was calling me back. Months passed and I began to feel discouraged because I couldn't find decent employment. Then in January, 2010 I was switching channels and I saw your show where you ask to send you our prayer requests, and I sow my seed to find employment. Needless to say, within a couple of weeks I applied to a confidential posting on the internet and the Owner of the company called me for an interview. It just so happens that he knew me from word of mouth and he hired me and made me an offer that was so much more than I was hopping for. Praise the Lord!
Mr. Rod Parsley, as I am writing this testimony tears are rolling down my face. Prayer does work! I believe God had this job lined up for me in due time. I believe in my heart God gave me a year off for my own good, to be able to spend more time with my son. You see, this was the first time in 30 years that I was out of work and I believe God wanted to give me some time off. And now that I am fully rested I am able to join the work force again.
Thank you for your prayers and I know you are reaching millions of people out there. Thank you God for this wonderful opportunity you have given me and I pray for my sister and others who have not found employment yet.
