Social Media Director
World Harvest Church, a global ministry with campuses in central Ohio and north central Indiana, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly competent and professional Social Media Director. World Harvest Church is one of today’s most influential churches, pastored by statesman, humanitarian and New York Times bestselling author, Rod Parsley. This ministry with its world-wide platform is affecting every strata of society spiritually, educationally, economically and culturally through the expanse of the Breakthrough television program which airs 7 days a week on major TV stations and affiliates.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct current social media platforms with a predominant focus and expertise on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube. Knowledge of other social media platforms.
  • Define comprehensive social media strategies to increase visibility, engagement, acquisition, membership and traffic to on/offline destinations.
  • Monitor trends in social media, identify tools and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to create successful social media campaigns.
  • Track campaign performance daily to evaluate possible need for adjustments, provide weekly reports with actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of social presentations; work with media planning in development of campaigns.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content and report to appropriate parties.
  • Daily manage and oversee the social marketing team; inspire staff to master current technologies while learning up-and-coming technologies and social outlets.
  • Provide guidance, counsel and mentorship to team.
  • Execute social media strategies along with team members.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Social Media Marketing or extensive social media experience; proven ability to draw on various technologies with a holistic approach.
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or other related field.
  • Must be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends, a progressive ability to network.
  • Excellent computer skills. Ability to work in Google Drive Docs, Google Drive Sheets, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, iMovie or Final Cut, Facebook Business Manager, and TweetDeck.
  • Strong attention to detail, multi-task oriented; ability to work well under tight deadlines; maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality.
  • A strong command of the English language including expert grammatical skills, exceptional verbal and written communication; online language must be clear and concise with textual communication and delivery; must have a working understanding of diverse and international cultures and possess an engaging personality.

Bus Driver / Special School Events
World Harvest Church, a global ministry in Central Ohio, has an exciting opportunity for experienced bus drivers that desire to use their talent to impact the world. World Harvest Church is one of today’s most influential churches, led by statesman, humanitarian and New York Times best–selling author, Pastor Rod Parsley. This ministry with its world–wide platform is affecting every strata of society spiritually, educationally, economically and culturally through the expanse of the Breakthrough television program which airs 24 hours a day/ 7days a week on major TV stations and affiliates. The Bus Driver opening is an as needed part–time casual position. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 2–3 years in the area of transportation.

Primary Responsibilities
    Bus drivers to provide transportation with school–related activities, i.e. field trips, sporting events, etc. throughout the Columbus Metro area.
    Adhere to all Federal regulations and to all additional State of Ohio requirements.
    Preserve order on the bus and enforce school safety regulations, permitting only those authorized to ride.
    Provide transportation for special church events.
    Primary Qualifications
    The driver must be at least 21 and have at least a class B CDL with a passenger and school bus endorsement and authorized to work in the United States.
    2–3 years minimum experience with public or private bus transportation and must be extremely safety–conscious.
    Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and be insurable.
    Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2–3 years of a verifiable .employment history with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
    Must successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
    First Aid/CPR certified a plus.
    Willing to work any day of the week including weekends.

Graphic Designer
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating Direct Mail Pieces, Brochures, Misc. Marketing Materials, Signage, CD / DVD Disc Art and Web Graphics.
  • Manage marketing campaigns and graphic design projects from inception to completion.
  • Perform project coordination duties that include initiate projects, tacking jobs, and reporting status of jobs.
  • Performs general administrative duties such as creating purchase orders, copying, filing, etc…
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
  • Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
  • Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations and other artwork, using computer.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, ministry logos, and Internet websites.
  • Consult to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials in order to meet their needs.
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout and design software.
  • Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design.
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations for printed materials such as books, DVD packages, stationary, and other publications.
  • Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products, television advertising and productions, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred.
  • Detail oriented with a strong aptitude in creating appropriate priorities for work assignments and accomplishing time-sensitive tasks.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a Macintosh Platform.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Lighting Director
Summary

The Lighting Director is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of lightning for church services and events.

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, program and execute lighting for live church services and events
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Assist with other day-to-day projects as they arise and with other duties in media department as necessary
Position Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating lighting boards for large-scale church productions
  • Strong knowledge of lighting software
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule including Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings as well as flexibility to work on non-scheduled days if necessary
  • Thrive in a team atmosphere; willing to pitch in and help out with any type of task
  • Able to work at a fast pace environment with flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities
  • Degree in related field is preferred

Long Term Substitute Teacher
Harvest Preparatory School is seeking a Substitute Teacher for a long–term assignment starting in January.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others and develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, administrative skills, problem–solving skills, and advanced knowledge of various teaching materials.
  • In the absence of the regular classroom teacher to help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.
  • Carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher and has the ability to provide meaningful learning in the absence of a lesson plan.
Primary Requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Three or more years of teaching experience, and highly knowledgeable about teaching students about content and skills in the applicable subject area; performs other related duties as directed.
  • Possess a valid teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education and a Non–Tax Teaching Certification issued by the Dept. of Education of Ohio.
  • Successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
Staff Pastor

The Staff Pastor will provide ministry support for local church, church services, ministry guests and other special events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promote and implement the vision of Pastor Parsley in all services provided by the Local Church Office.
  • This leader meets and works with the local church Administrative Team, Elders, Children’s & Youth Pastors, Music Ministry, Staff Pastors, and others to fulfill the mission of the church.
  • Oversees and organizes all major events for the church family, children’s ministry , and youth Ministry, and annual conferences and events.
  • Manages the volunteers for the Ministry including but not limited to greeters, ushers, hostesses, medical personnel, and workers for annual conferences and events.
  • Participate in service planning meetings and event planning meetings.
  • Provides a high level of Christian care and service to the church family in the time of bereavement, funerals, weddings, illness, and other challenges.
  • Serves all segments of the church population including the underprivileged and those with physical challenges.
  • Assist in alter ministry and evangelizing to the church community.
  • Compile spreadsheets, flow charts, database information and statistical information on the progress of all reporting ministries.
  • May make visits to members that are house bound due to illness, elderly, hospitalized, or experiencing loss of a loved one.
  • Coordinate expressions from the Ministry for appreciation , illness, bereavement, and meal efforts.
  • Administer the Lord’s supper during church services and at other opportunities
  • Evangelize the local, state, national, and international audience in church services, Breakthrough crusades. 125 Live, and special events.
  • Nurture and disciple members

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Church Administration, Ministry or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and written for the purpose of public interaction; the ability to lead, counsel and teach the Word of God effectively.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities

  • Maintains a neat, orderly and safe classroom.
  • Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.
  • Insures that the students are never left unattended in the classroom.
  • May perform duties usually required of absent teacher such as lunchroom duty, hall monitoring, etc.
  • Knows emergency evacuation routes for the classrooms assigned.
  • Knows procedures for referring students who are disciplinary problems.
  • Knows school procedures and regulations and consistently follows HPS policies.
Primary Requirements
