My Dearest Pastor Rod,
I give God PRAISE for you and your family!! The Lord is truly doing a "work" through you. I am so very thankful that you are obedient to the Holy Spirit; nothing compares to the blessings one receives when doing so. You are a TRUE man of God..., you have allowed the Heavenly Father to use you in a mighty way. If you think you've been blessed-you ain't seen nothing yet. Because of you and the instruction of the Holy Spirit, I am amazed at the things I've done this year. I was blessed to be in the last service of 2012..., I decided then that I needed to do something different, get out of my "zone" and do something different for someone else. I volunteer in the prayer center on Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening and Thursday morning. I attend service on Sunday morning and Sunday evening and I also attend Wednesday night service when I'm in town. I am a USA Boxing Official, I am a computer tech for electronic scoring for amateur boxing. I was chosen to be the computer tech for the Olympic Boxing Team's last sparring session at the Olympic Village in Colorado before they went to London-what an honor. Anyway, because of the anointing at World Harvest, my faith has grown tremendously! I am following the reading plan--it is one of the best things I have ever done. As you say...," you can't just read the bible, you have to READ the bible!" A feeling of peace has fallen on me since doing so. You said you want to help grow our faith and Mister that's exactly what's happened! I'm so thankful. This past Wednesday night, December 4, 2013 I was in the Wednesday night service. I absolutely love it when you allow the Holy Spirit to take over. When you told us to put our left hand on the area that needs to be healed, I did that. Before I got to church I felt this sensation in my left ear. I used to be an aerobic/step instructor and when I was teaching the music was so loud, you couldn't hear yourself think. I began losing my hearing right after my son, Cory passed in 1996. He and my daughter Niki attended the academy back in the 1990's. Anyway, you said, "if you believe you're healed, come back up on the stage. When I followed your instruction, my left ear literally "POPPED" open. It scared me at first because my hearing seemed "magnified", everything was crystal clear. For the first time in a long time, things didn't sound muffled. When I got back on the stage, you whispered in my ear as the music on the stage was "blasting" and I actually heard you whisper and repeated everything you said to me. I was overwhelmed!! Pastor, all I could do was cry because I couldn't believe a miracle like that could happen to me. I went home that night and fell on my knees and praised God for his mercy and healing. I always think something like this could never happen to ME!!! Well, I went to the prayer center on Thursday, December 5, 2013 and I didn't have to hit the 'volume' button on the phone. I told everyone about what happened the night before, of course, Miss Martha & the Valor college students witnessed what happened, I cried as I retold my experience--I was a "hot mess" trying to talk about it, I stopped people as I was leaving the prayer center telling them what the Lord has done. Listen, don't ever stop what you are doing for God's people at World Harvest Church. The Lord is going to do supernatural things through you for the flock there and in this world. You don't need a crowd, just the people that are hungry for God's word and His Will. Few do the work of many--I've learned that. There is so much more I would love to tell you but for now I want you to know that your work is NOT in vain and you are getting to the very ones the Lord wants you to get to right now. I am honored to be a member of World Harvest Church and I am so very, very proud of you. I'm glad there is room at the foot of the cross for me. Thank you so much for teaching us. Knowledge is power. What I get at World Harvest, I could NEVER get any where else. You are one of a kind-anointed and about God's work.
I am a widow now, Raymond passed in February 2011 from pancreatic cancer; Pastor Canfield presided over my husband's service and Cory's as well. He is such a gracious man! I am living on my husband's retirement; I STILL tithe from that once-a-month income. You have prayed for me and I appreciate that. Pray that the Lord will open a window for me in order to attend Valor. Things are a "challenge" for me right now financially but I know my Lord is able to cancel debt and provide all I need. I love you Pastor, I love Joni & your entire family. How blessed and fortunate we are to have such a family committed to doing God's work. May the Lord continue to richly bless you and yours. I pray a special hedge of protection around you and Joni especially. I pray that the Lord will continue to use YOU to win souls for our Lord Jesus Christ. You are an excellent, outstanding servant for our Heavenly Father. Keep your head up and know how truly appreciated you are. See you Sunday morning.
