My father beat cancer because HE LIVES!
Dear Rod Parsely,
In July of last year my father Peter was in a fatal head on collision after leaving work. Although his vehicle had been totaled not a single bone in his body was harmed. He then met with a doctor to get an examination after the accident. To our surprise the Doctor had found some tumors in my father’s right kidney. The next step was to have his kidney removed early January of this year, reason being that they might be cancerous. As recommended he had surgery to remove his right kidney. God willing he came out of surgery in great condition. In the month to follow which was February my father had gone in for a post - operation appointment and was diagnosed with Sarcoma stage 4 cancer. Our family was in disbelief that the cancer had spread so quickly and had escalated to such a numerically high stage in what felt like a blink of an eye. Our family reached out to all of whom we were connected to. We shared the news and asked our relatives, members of our congregation, friends, co-workers to pray with us and for us. My parents felt compelled to expand our prayer network and ask many such as www.rod parsley.com to join us in prayer with the hope that a miracle would soon be on the horizon. They always say God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. Nevertheless our faith was fueled more and more day by day. We would pray and fast knowing that if The Almighty could bring us to this battle that He also would bring us through this battle. On Friday June 13th we received news that my father had indeed beat cancer! We know that God lives and we are grateful for his unmerciful love. This is a letter of gratitude to the many supporters who walked alongside us during our journey of faith in the most memorable staple of our life. We thank you beyond words and appreciate all of the support you gave us and continue to gives us. God Bless You!
