Driving in Favor
I'm a current Valor Student who came in August 2014 by way of my Pastors, Michael and Dr. Anita Phillips part of the Ministerial Alliance.
Since I've received my driver's license April of 2014, I've been believing God for a car. Because of my credit and the debts I owed, I wasn't able to get one from a dealership. So, I started saving money to buy a used car from a local ad. However, it seemed as though when I took a step closer to my goal, life pushed me back 2 steps; putting my account -$300 in the hole. I was tired of not having the things that God said I could have. One day, I remembered what my Pastor taught me about sowing. He said, when someone has what you want, sow into their life. It never made sense to me but out of faith and obedience I had nothing to lose at this point. I washed cars, cleaned offices, and scraped up any coins I could find to give, get my account of the negatives and to get the car I wanted.
In November of 2014 God not only took my account out of the negative status, He gave me another $300 for my trouble. But I still wanted my car. I knew if God was able to do that, He could and would do more. March 22nd of this year, during our evening service. God began to speak to Elder Germaine Brunson about my sowing and my car. He told me that God said my car was here! Little did I know that the car that he was talking about was a car that he's been trying to get rid of since I arrived here. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes later, God confirmed through Ms. Lisa Brunson that the car they've been trying to get rid of was for me.
God never stops where you want him to. He always does it big. During the service, an usher came to Ms. Lisa and said that he will pay for my first year's insurance cost.
So my faith is extended and greater than ever before. I thank God for his timing and his placement. It's always perfect.
