can accomplish in your life TODAY!
DAY FIVE:
Thursday, April 17th - Give me a song at midnight!
Dear Friend,
Our Good Friday Holy Communion service is TOMORROW, April 18 at 7pm ET, and the Easter Resurrection Celebration service is SUNDAY at 10am ET!
As we prepare to gather in the Name of the Lord this weekend, my heart is stirred for you and your loved ones. Thousands upon thousands of prayer
requests have been pouring in to receive God’s
resurrection anointing this weekend, and we’re nearly ready!
Joni and I have been standing together in agreement with you, fasting and praying, all throughout this resurrection season, believing God for your miracle!
This is day 5 of my email devotions,
Your Season of Resurrection Miracles, that the Spirit of
God instructed me to send you to build your spirit with faith leading into Easter Sunday.
Naturally, our familiar Easter traditions have trained us to associate the Resurrection with sunrise. This is because the discovery of the empty tomb by
the women occurred around daybreak. Yet all four Gospels record their arrival at the tomb at or just before sunrise on the day after the Sabbath.
As John describes it, “On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early,
while it was still dark. She
saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb” (John 20:1).
This means they assembled and began their journey to the garden while it was dark. When they arrived, while it was still dark, the tomb was already empty.
In the darkness, Jesus was resurrected!
There is a large message in this small detail of the Resurrection narrative. We ought not wait for our circumstances to brighten before we put our hope
in a faithful God. We must not say to God, “Show me some improvement and then I’ll believe in Your goodness and mercy.” No,
it is
when things seem the most hopeless and grim that we should anchor our faith to the rock of expectancy. It is when it seems “too late”
that we must muster words of praise and thanksgiving.
We all recall that Paul and Silas sang a hymn of praise from the depths of a filthy Philippian dungeon, but do we remember when? I summon Acts 16:25 to
rise and testify. “
At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God.” When did these fettered saints find their song
of praise?
At midnight – when things seemed the most hopeless!
You know the result. “
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors
were opened and everyone’s shackles were loosened” (Acts 16:26).
I encourage you not to wait on the dawn to find your shout of confidence in God.
Remember, your greatest opposition always comes at the point of your breakthrough. Sing your song now, in the middle of your midnight hour, when trouble
seems to be pressing in all around you.
Anyone can sing God’s praise on a clear day at noon. That kind of faith doesn’t alarm the principalities and powers. But faith that sings at
midnight …
that is when God’s freedom-inducing resurrection power comes!
Tombs open in the middle of the night. Graves burst open in the middle of the night. Jesus comes walking on the waves in the middle of the night with a
message for you and me. It is that very one He spoke to Jairus, who had just absorbed the news that his daughter had died: “
Do not fear.
Only believe” (Luke 8:50).

These are the blessings I am believing God to release to you as you stand with our ministry this Easter Resurrection Season:
- What you had but lost will be restored to you.
I believe whatever you lost will come flooding back to you and multiplied — bigger, better, deeper and fuller than it was when you lost it.
- What belongs to you, but you never had, will be released for you.
I believe you’ll receive what belongs to you, according to God’s promises. Healing, deliverance, abundance, joy!
- What you never even knew you should have, God will give you!
I believe you can receive what Ephesians 3:20 calls “exceedingly abundantly” above all you can ask or imagine.
Be sure to send me your prayer requests and sow your Resurrection Seed offering today. I want to make sure they’re here before Good Friday and
Resurrection Sunday, so I can lift them up before God and pray over them – that the victory of Christ may change your season in this appointed time
for miracles!
Yours for the Harvest,
Pastor Rod Parsley
