Be Made Whole: Day 1 - God’s Forever “Yes!”
Dear Friend,
Acts 5:15-16 in your bible records the tangible, transferable, miracle-working power of the yoke-destroying,
burden-removing anointing of the Holy Spirit.
“Believers were increasingly added to the Lord, crowds of both men and women, so that they even
brought the sick out into the streets and placed them on beds and mats, that at least the shadow of Peter
passing by might touch some of them. Crowds also came out of the cities surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the
sick and those who were afflicted by evil spirits, and they were all healed.”
Now these special miracles are merely examples of what I believe the Lord Jesus Christ wants to release into
your life and the lives of millions during our Be Made Whole 30
th Anniversary Miracle, Healing &
Victory Prayer Cloth Service on November 19 – just one week from today!
I may not know what you or someone you love may be in desperate need of. Scripture is full of desperate situations,
difficult problems, and impossibilities:
- Cain’s sacrifice wasn’t accepted.
- Abraham and Sarah were childless.
- Hannah was barren.
- The Israelites complain moments after God rescues them from slavery in Egypt.
- Saul felt threatened by David’s popularity.
- The list goes on and on.
But I want to focus today not on the problem, but on God’s disposition toward His people with problems: His
love, compassion, and His willingness to act. After all, the only way I can change your future is to change
whose words you believe.
Your Heavenly Father wants to heal you.
Shout right now – loud enough for your own ears to hear you – these two powerful words:
“I believe.”
The first chapter of Mark, beginning with verse 40 tells the story of a man with leprosy who came and
knelt before Jesus.
Now there’s a key to your healing.
He came kneeling. He was worshipping. He was
showing, “I am under authority.” Why? Because if you can’t be
under authority,
you don’t
have any authority.
Let’s look at the text together—beginning in Mark 1:40:
“A leper came to Him, pleading with Him and kneeling before Him, saying, ‘If You are
willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus, moved with compassion, extended
His hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I will. Be clean.’ As
soon as He had spoken, the leprosy immediately departed from him, and he was cleansed.”
Now, then, here comes this man worshiping and asking for healing. Notice what Jesus DID NOT say:
- Son, you haven’t been learning much, so what I need to do is make you suffer with sickness for a while—it’ll teach you something.
- I’d better not take this sickness away from you right now.
- If I heal you, I won’t have healing for someone else down the road.
- I don’t have time right now, I’m a busy God.
He didn’t say any of that! Friend, I need you to understand: He
NEVER said no.
He always said YES!
He said Yes, I will, I am willing, and Be made whole!
When the man came and knelt before Jesus, Jesus extended His hand — He moved toward the man
— touched Him, and declared, “I will.”
If you are seeking Jesus, like this man, or the woman with the issue of blood, pushing her way through that
crowd … if you’ve silenced everything around you, and you are worshiping Him, right now, and you
are saying to Him, “Lord, if you will, you can heal me …” Now listen. He’s speaking
to you. He said, simply, “I will; be made whole.”
I believe He’s going to touch YOU! Why? Because He is always willing! Put your hand on
your body or loved one. I bind every sickness, disease, pain, malady, malfunction, and infirmity, in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!
I believe He’s going to move toward you as you move toward Him! This coming Sunday –
