Be Made Whole #7 - Your miracle is near!
Dear Friend,
My spirit is stirring with anticipation for our
Be Made Whole Miracle, Healing & Victory Prayer Cloth Service TOMORROW—Sunday,
November 23— at 10 a.m. ET. There’s still time to
request a prayer cloth for you or
a loved one, and send your prayer needs so I can agree with you by faith!
Psalm 27 declares, “
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I
be afraid?”
The Lord Jesus Christ wants you to be free! But
how?
Naturally, He paved the path for your freedom Himself. But in Mark 6, He also gave His first disciples authority over unclean spirits, and to
heal the sick by anointing them with oil and praying the prayer of faith.
Your Bible says in James 5, “Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise
him up.”
Oil itself is a representation of the presence and activity of the Holy Ghost. There’s nothing special about oil, or the mud Jesus used
to wipe the blindness out of a blind man’s eyes.
There’s also nothing special about a piece of cloth.
Both oil and a prayer cloth are simply a
point of contact and an expression of our
obedience.
There are many ways and methods God choses to bring healing to someone. One way God gets His healing power to you is by physical contact:
“
the laying on of hands.”
In Hebrews 6:1-2, we find the following passage:
Therefore, leaving the elementary principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of
repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the
dead, and eternal judgment.
Here, “the laying on of hands” is described as one of the “foundational” and “elementary principles of the
doctrine of Christ.”
As an example, Matthew 7:2-3 records the following powerful story:
And then a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus reached
out His hand and touched him, saying, “I will. Be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
God is still a healing, miracle-working God! I have seen them regularly since 1979. That year, at a meeting with a good friend of mine, Norvel
Hayes – who could put more faith in you in 10 minutes than most people in a lifetime – God put His healing power in my hand.
Brother Norvel heard that I was a Baptist preacher, so he lined a whole row of people up and said to them, “Now, I want you to watch that
God will even use a Baptist boy.” Then he said to me, “Lay hands on these people in need.”
Of course, as a young Baptist preacher, this was certainly outside anything I’d ever been taught or experienced. I turned to him, weeping,
and said “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
That precious man of God came over to me and guiding my hand in his, said, “Just ever so gently lay your hand on their forehead like this
and God is going to heal them!”
I didn’t know it at the time, but the first lady I prayed for had undergone a hysterectomy two years earlier. She came back a few nights
later with her doctor who said, “I have to see what happened here … I took out this woman’s female organs in a radical
hysterectomy. But I examined her yesterday and she’s not only fully intact …
she’s three months pregnant!”
Hallelujah!
Friend, it isn’t the hand that touches and prays for the sick that heals them!
It’s the anointing of God –
His healing, delivering, restoring power – that is
tangible and
transferrable! To God
be the glory!
Don’t give up! Hold on! I believe God is about to make a way where you don’t see a way! Only believe!
Yours for the harvest,

Pastor Rod Parsley
