Be Made Whole #5 - Filled with Hope

Dear Friend,

We’ve all seen people weighed down by worry, buried in debt, overwhelmed by hopelessness or fear — unsure how they reached that point or how to escape it. But God never intended for His children to live that way. His will is your freedom!

Jeremiah 29:11 says it like this:

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ”

We live in a world where we are offered new credit cards to buy the latest electronic gadgets, the most luxurious vacations, and the most stylish clothes. Our culture has become a “microwave” society. If we want something, we want it now!

But God wants to be Lord over EVERY area of your life, including your finances. He wants you to accept His provision for you. He is wiser than we are and He promises to provide all of our needs as we trust in Him.

In Matthew 6:31, Jesus said, “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ ”

Do you believe that the Lord still has a miraculous plan for your life? Roland certainly does — and his breakthrough came through the anointing and obedience connected to a prayer cloth.

Roland came out of college with a finance degree — and immediately struggled to find a job. He had been promised a spot at an investment banking firm, but the opportunity fell through … and so did his finances. Bills were mounting, and he was desperate.

But Roland’s mother had requested a prayer cloth and was targeting her faith for her son’s employment. She urged him to tune in to the prayer cloth service — but he was reluctant.

“It’s Pastor Rod Parsley. Whatever you’re doing, watch this. Something good is going to happen this time around,” she told him.

Roland finally tuned in — and was stunned when Pastor Parsley declared:

“There’s somebody unemployed. You will have a job this time next year.”

Roland knew the message was for him. And less than 72 hours later, he was offered a lucrative position as an investment banker.

Today, Roland carries his prayer cloth in his wallet as a reminder of the tangible, transferable anointing that changed his life.

I have seen this kind of miracle happen again and again, when the power of God resident in His anointing upon a prayer cloth connects with someone’s obedience to Him. Whether that looks like sowing a seed of $50 or $1,000, your faith in God and obedience to Him is all that matters.
